A new cross-border payments solution, Brightwell’s ReadyRemit *, powered by The Bancorp Bank, N.A., and Mastercard’s Cross-Border Services, was just unveiled by Atlanta-based Brightwell, a provider of global payments technology. ReadyRemit provides a user-friendly, cross-border payments solution with compliance capabilities, enabling fintechs, enterprises, and programme administrators to improve revenue and loyalty. When possible, the partnership will make it possible to access funds in almost real-time and on the same day.

Using ReadyRemit, global connectivity is being increased

The demand for a more seamless, integrated, and dependable payment experience is being driven by the fact that 42% of consumers worldwide are sending or receiving more cross-border payments than they were a year ago, according to Mastercard’s 2022 Borderless Payments Report. With near real-time and same-day service, ReadyRemit provides customers with access to payments to over 100 countries and 280,000 cash payout locations. The service accepts a variety of payment methods and delivery channels, including bank accounts, mobile wallets, and cash-out locations.

“Our Cross-Border Services enable fast, smart and simple access to funds whenever and wherever you are”, “Our work with Brightwell supports a reliable, equitable payments experience, broadening financial access around the world.”

Prepaid Technologies, a leader in the prepaid sector with more than 50 years of experience in electronic payments, identified the need for a cross-border payments service to satisfy the remittance requirements of its cardholders. Prepaid Technologies used ReadyRemit, which is run by Brightwell’s partners in international payments, as a remedy.

“We partnered with Brightwell to bring its ReadyRemit solution to market for our Dash Payroll cardholders in need of remittance services”, “Built with the prepaid cardholder in mind, the ReadyRemit solution offers both an API for our web users and a fully functioning SDK for our mobile apps. This allows for a seamless integration with Brightwell’s technology and provides a solution we can deploy with ease for our wide range of cardholders.”
