Climate change is fast being recognized as a considerable risk to the global economy, but what about the loss of biodiversity and nature? At least a third of our climate solutions are due to come from nature, yet it is being rapidly and dangerously eroded. Plants, animals, and minerals are the basis of our supply chains and food systems, however, they are being damaged at an alarming rate by the very businesses which depend upon them for survival. Biodiversity loss is a risk to the biosphere itself – the primary value generator on the planet. It is an existential threat and systemic risk to our global financial stability.
